With the 118.10 release, defender missiles will receive a long awaited overhaul, with their guidance systems improved to target bombs launched by stealth bombers, giving a more viable counter to the strafing bombing runs popular among those who wish to decimate a static or slow moving fleet.
With the holiday season fast approaching, and the CONCORD hosted Yoiul Festival right on the horizon, these “Glacial Drift” SKINs will be released for all frigates, destroyers and cruisers with 118.10 so that capsuleers can enjoy the holiday spirit in style.

A new line of SKINs for the three Sisters of EVE vessels is available with 118.10, celebrating the Sisters of EVE “Fire Cell” Defense fleet, a fierce group of sentries employed by the Servant Sisters of EVE to defend their research, archaeology and exploration operations in Thera and across other SOE research sites.
In the quest to continuously improve the aesthetic quality of New Eden, station engineers have been hard at work replacing the lamps in docking approach lights across the cluster and erecting new advertising billboards outside stations.
With these changes, station exterior environments are even more dynamic that ever before, with traffic leaving and arriving, approach lights guiding vessels into their docking bays and your favorite advertisements rolling 23.75/7 across the cluster!
CCP RealX has once again been busy putting together a theme tune for 118.10.
With the 118.10 release, there will be user improvements to the Flight Academy system, which will allow players to find the parts of videos most relevant to the assistance they need.
The Flight Academy Tutorial system can be accessed by hitting F12 in the EVE Online Client, and allows pilots to view informational videos hosted by CCP staff that give guidance and explanations on features and UI elements in game.
In this release, there will be improvements made to the first stage of the new player experience for EVE Online that include an introduction to multi-targeting, providing distance guidance when a pilot is out of looting range of a container or wreck, and more detailed information on fitting during the Battle Preparations section of the new player experience.

Non capsuleer mining operations are receiving more attention with this release, and will respond even more dynamically to pilot interactions after 118.10, with pilots who defend these operations from other capsuleers benefitting from remote logistics assistance from the mining defense fleet.
In addition to this, the response taskforce coming to the aid of these mining operations will scale depending on the security rating of the system in which they are mining.
